If you missed my review, this tiny cookbook is packed with 127-paged of recipes for breads, desserts, main entrees, soups and salads, and sandwiches. “Money-Saving Recipes” is a compilation of the authors’ favorite frugal recipes. Lynda Del shared her families rule.

Our rule is if one does the cooking, the other does the dishes. I tend to be the one who cooks more often :)

I asked you to share your most memorable family dinnertime story with us and this is what the winners shared.

Pam said her most memorable dinnertime story was when she cooked for her and her husband’s family.

Along with the turkey remaining stuffed with it’s own innards (yuck) there were burnt rolls, hard as a rock butter molds, runny potatoes, basically whatever could go wrong, did.

Donna, who had given birth two months ago, was so tired and frazzled that she forgot to turn on the oven to cook the turkey.

I never made that mistake again and my husband still ribs me about it to this day.

Deanna said a particular Thanksgiving dinner was also her favorite.

The thing I remember most was the food fight we ended up having just as a bit of fun lol.

Lynda most memorable dinnertime was on Halloween when she was about 10 years old. As her family cooked the meal she was getting ready to trick or treat.

this was before the time when all costumes were bought, so we still had to scavenger through our parents’ old stuff to become the princess and the pirates that we wanted. lots of fun!!

Ron Miller’s memorable family dinner was with his family while they where on vacation with his little ones.

We enjoyed dinner in Cinderellas Castle in Disney World thoroughly!

Winners, I hope the book helps you save money on your groceries and it allows you to have more memorable moment with your families. Send me an email with an address so I can send the books your way.
